ABOUT PETER

 

 

       Peter Sekirin received his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of Toronto in 2000.  Peter is the author of several history books and biographies, and the English translator of Chekhov's and Tolstoy's major works, published for the first time in English.

 

       Peter signed major deals with several trade publishers:

     "Divine and Human" by L.

Tolstoy with editor Dave Lambert at Zondervan - Harper Collins in 2000.   

      "Wise Thoughts on God and Love" by L. Tolstoy with editor Cal Barksdale at Arcade - Hachette in 2007.  
       "Stories of Crime and Suspense"  by A.

Chekhov with editor Jessica Case at Pegasus Books in 2010.

       "Calendar of Wisdom" by L. Tolstoy with editor Susan Moldow at Scribner - Simon and Schuster in 1997, Second reprint
